We have offered custom residential design services to the Chicago area from our Crystal Lake location for over thirty years. Working together with clients to design their custom home has been our greatest professional reward. Experience gained in the design of more than one thousand homes is an asset to new customers. We have also worked with many professional home builders designing semi-custom homes, subdivision models and multifamily projects.
James Byrnes graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL with a bachelor in architecture. He is registered to practice architecture in Illinois and Wisconsin. Since opening a private practice in 1973, his major emphasis has been in residential design. He has had the privilege to serve clients in most of Chicago's suburban communities. The office is located just north of Crystal Lake, Illinois. He is NCARB certified and professionally insured.
